As we all know, manufacturers sometimes discontinue popular items and reinvent the design while maintaining the same function. This is the case in the Watts old style USG-B M1 3/8” Under Sink Guardian Thermostatic Mixing Valve. Due to Watts discontinuing that style, there is now an updated version LFUSG-B-M2, #99012387. The function remains the same but there are a few design differences to note. The original was made of bronze, while this new version is a lead-free brass. Additionally, the old style had a plastic handle and is now adjustable using a screwdriver.
