BLACK SWAN 1-1/2 IN X 10 YDS SAND CLOTH

Black Swan's Sand Cloth is a premium grade, aluminum oxide, 120 grit water resistant cloth. Ideal for cleaning and polishing copper tubing and fittings for soldering as well as many other plumbing applications. Can also be used with brass, aluminum and plastics.

There are many different grades of Sand Cloth being sold today. The characteristics of a Sand Cloth are the quality of the cloth, the quality of grain and the quality of the glue that holds the grain on the cloth. The backing is a J Cloth. This is a quality cloth. The grain is a 120 grit aluminum oxide. This is a higher quality and higher grain than Emory.

The glue used to hold on the aluminum oxide grit is a high quality resin glue. It is water and heat resistant. Please note that the Black Swan Sand Cloth is water resistant and not waterproof.
