The Hydronix Sediment Water Filter is a 1 micron sediment filter that is made from 100% pure polypropylene. This graded density filter features multi-stage depth filtration that traps particles for superior dirt holding capacity and performance. The SDC-25-1001 filter reduces sand, rust, dirt, silt, and sediment in drinking water, by trapping various sized particles layer by layer. This 1 micron water filter is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for GAC filters. It is ideal for a wide range of residential, industrial, commercial and food service applications.
