This 1/2 inch trap primer is installed in plumbing systems to prevent floor drain traps from losing their water seal by evaporation. It operates by sensing the pressure drop in the supply line from downstream fixtures or appliances. This trap primer features a Lead-Free brass body with EDPM seals, built-in air gap, and 1/2 inch male NPT inlet by 1/2 inch female NPT outlet. The minimum supply pressure must exceed 25 psi (172 kPa) and the maximum supply pressure is 125 psi (8.6 bar).
