ZURN 1 IN AQUA-GARD CU SWEAT TEMPERING MIXING VALVE

The Aqua-Gard® Thermostatic Mixing Valve is utilized in both residential and most light commercial point-of-use installations to mix hot and cold water and reduce the hot water temperature in the distribution system to 122°F (50°C) or less. The valve is suitable for installation in areas inaccessible to end users at the hot water source, and is recommended to be installed with a shut-off valve and thermometer in the tempered water line for safety and accuracy in conjunction with the ASSE 1070 device. Included with both inlet strainers and check valves, the can also be installed in any position.
