This 1/2 inch pressure relief valve is used in residential applications to protect against excessive pressure on tankless water heaters and domestic storage tanks. It consists of a bronze body construction with 1/2 inch NPT threaded male inlet and 1/2 inch NPT threaded female (drain) outlet connections, test lever and stainless steel spring. It is ANSI Z21.22 approved, listed and certified by CSA. The pressure relief is set at 125 psi (8.6 bar).
