This 3/4 inch extra extended shank temperature and pressure relief valve is used in water heater and hot water storage tank applications to provide automatic temperature and pressure protection to hot water supply tanks and hot water heaters up to 105,000 BTU/hr. It features an extended shank for installation on water heaters with extra thick insulation as well as a brass body with NPT male inlet and NPT female outlet connections, unique thermostat with special thermo-bonded coating, and a test lever. It is suitable for water heaters with up to 2 1/2 inches (63.5 mm) of insulation. It is ASME rated and CSA listed. The temperature relief is 210 F (99 C), the pressure relief range is 75 to 150 psi (5.2 to 10.3 bars) and the standard pressure setting is 150 psi (10.55 bar).
