Prevents dangerous back-siphonage and backflow into a potable water supply. All-brass construction with threaded connections, neoprene seat disc, rubber washer and steel set screw. The V-3 is equipped with a protruding tip device for manual draining of faucet (after hose removal) which prevents freezing. Maximum pressure is 125 psi; maximum temperature is 180 Deg F (82 Deg C). The V-3 is available chrome-plated (V-3C) on special order.
